BenQ Group Unveils “AI WOW” Experience at COMPUTEX 2025, Doubles Exhibit Size and Targets 30% Carbon Emission Reduction

BenQ Group remains at the forefront of the industry in its pursuit of sustainable exhibition

The Group’s exhibition scale this year is twice that of the previous year, which presents a challenge in terms of reducing the carbon emissions goal by 30%. This demonstrates a complete upgrade in commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). The exhibition theme of “AI WOW” fully illustrates the extent to which AI transcends the application field to accelerate the innovative momentum that occurs when IT and OT converge.

To extend the influence of sustainability, the ISO 20121 challenge is being undertaken for the third time.

In 2023 Computex Taipei, BenQ Group became the world’s first and only participating booth to receive ISO 20121 sustainability event management certification. In 2024, the Group obtained certification once more, lowering carbon emissions by 15% and implementing 21 ESG goals at the expo. This year, BenQ Group will take on the ISO 20121 standards for the third time, aiming to improve all three aspects of ESG.

The environmental (E) aspect focuses on mitigating climate change and creating sustainable, low carbon field domains through 100% Circular building materials and 100% reusable foodware. This increases the ratio of reduce and reuse, aiming to double the expo venue area and lower carbon emissions by 30%. The social (S) aspect focuses on diversity and inclusivity, working with stakeholders to take action. This leads to the demonstration of 50% sustainable smart solutions and the expansion of plans into digital responsibility, such as combating financial fraud and managing smart hospitals. The governance (G) aspect focuses on the implementation of responsible procurement while collaborating with Certified B Corporations (B Corps) and NGOs to ensure that 90% of the purchases are local gifts and 80% are local building materials. This will fundamentally strengthen the exhibition’s corporate structure and the creation of economic value

With twice the number of exhibition booths, 23 enterprise groups collaborate to showcase the diverse and innovative applications of “AI WOW.”

This year, BenQ Group has convened 23 companies under the theme “AI WOW.” The digital transformation of retail, enterprises, transportation, manufacturing, medical care, UAVs, AI Computing Power, Smart Netcom, and everyday living has been completely upgraded through the integrative innovation of AI technology-driven IT and OT. This will assist clients in implementing AI-powered waste reduction and low carbon operations. Furthermore, the Group will exhibit its ESG solutions, which are dedicated to the implementation of long-term value creation. The following are the focal points of the exhibition:

Four Exhibition Focuses at the BenQ Group COMPUTEX 2025
