Jebsen & Jessen Group Appoints Chang Chee Keong as CEO of Packaging Business Unit

Leadership continuity to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence across the Group’s Packaging businesses

Singapore / Kuala Lumpur, 5 January 2026: Jebsen & Jessen Group today announced the appointment of Chang Chee Keong (“CK”) as Chief Executive Officer of its Packaging Business Unit, effective 1 January 2026.

CK succeeds Chui Tau Siong, who has led the Packaging business for many years and has been with the Group for over five decades. Mr Chui will continue to serve on the Jebsen & Jessen Group Board of Directors and remains President Director of the Group’s joint venture Indo Tirta Abadi in Indonesia, reporting to CK in his new capacity.

CK will be supported by Tee Hor Chang, who was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2024 and continues to oversee the full spectrum of factory and operational activities across the Packaging Business Unit.

CK joined Jebsen & Jessen Group in 2019 as General Manager of JJ-LAPP Malaysia, where he led the trading and distribution of cable solutions. In 2024, he transitioned to the Packaging Business Unit as Deputy CEO, marking a strategic shift into full-scale manufacturing encompassing design, development and operations.

His appointment follows a comprehensive succession planning process and reflects the Group’s commitment to leadership continuity, operational excellence and long-term value creation.

As CEO, CK will focus on profitable and sustainable growth, strengthening core businesses, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing environmental impact across the Packaging portfolio, which operates in Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.

Commenting on his appointment, CK said:
“It is a great honour to take on this role. As we move into our next five-year strategic phase, I am grateful for the trust placed in me and for the strong team that has supported this journey. We will continue to build a resilient, people-driven organisation that grows responsibly and embraces change.”

CK believes leadership begins with people and preparation for the future. “We lead by example, grow together, and ensure the next generation is ready to step forward,” he added.

The Group extends its appreciation to Chui Tau Siong for his decades of leadership and contribution in building the Packaging Business Unit into a strong and respected regional player.
