Kerry uses Immersive Experiences to Bring to Life Exciting Possibilities for F&B Innovation at Gulfood Manufacturing 2024

Dubai, UAE, 25 October 2024 — Kerry is ready to welcome an estimated 50,000 attendees to Gulfood Manufacturing from 5– 7 November at booth A7-4, Hall 7, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.  With deep experience working with global and local food service powerhouses, Kerry will showcase how out-of-home experiences translate to the supermarket shelf and consumer kitchens, offering visitors a taste of innovative menu concepts ranging from bakery, snack, meat to beverages for retail markets.

“Based on our foodservice capability, experience, and partnerships, we are the best positioned taste and nutrition leader to help our customers spot food and beverage consumer trends in retail markets. For Gulfood Manufacturing, we have designed a booth to take our customers on a consumer trend journey from fine dining to independents, and from QSRs to supermarket shelves. Kerry helps brands and manufacturers visualize their next big idea in F&B products that will excite consumers, while helping to build a smarter, more sustainable food industry,” said Inanc Isik, General Manager, Retail, Kerry Middle East.

Create Concepts from Kerry Taste Charts

Using Kerry’s proprietary Taste Charts and advice from Kerry’s professional chefs and baristas, attendees will co-create their own virtual food and beverages, leaving with a photo of their bespoke innovation. Supported by Kerry’s research teams, marketers, nutritionists, and insights tool Trendspotter, Kerry’s annual Taste Charts tracks menu trends, new food and drink launches, ingredient labels, social media chatter, and chef-inspired recipes across the globe, to deliver well-founded predictions about future flavour and ingredient preferences.

Multisensory VR Experience

Customers are invited to a multisensory experience that will carry them through a virtual culinary journey of fine dining, independents, quick service restaurants, to the supermarket, ending with live tasting of unique food and beverage concepts. In an industry first, the tasting experience will be paired with art projections created by contemporary artist @TamerNakisci to match their emotional response to different food concepts using neurosensory mapping.
