Ajinomoto Co. and JAL Offer Special Inflight and Lounge Menus in line with the Olympic Games Paris 2024

Ajinomoto Co., Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Taro Fujie; “Ajinomoto Co.”) and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Mitsuko Tottori; “JAL”) are pleased to announce a limited-time offering of “Powered by ‘Kachimeshi®’ TEAM JAPAN Paris 2024 Support Menus” both inflight and in lounges. This initiative represents the companies’ joint support for the “Japan Olympic Team ‘TEAM JAPAN’” participating in the Olympic Games Paris 2024 (“Paris 2024”).

Since 2003, as an official partner of the Japanese Olympic Committee (Chairman: Yasuhiro Yamashita; “JOC”), Ajinomoto Co. has been promoting the “Victory Project®” *1, a nutrition and conditioning support initiative for TEAM JAPAN. Additionally, JAL has been actively involved in promoting various sports and supporting athletes to contribute to the creation of a prosperous society through the value of sports as an official supporter of TEAM JAPAN. JAL will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of TEAM JAPAN for the Paris 2024.

To build momentum for Paris 2024, Ajinomoto Co. and JAL have created two special menus by incorporating the concept of Ajinomoto Co.’s winning meals “Kachimeshi®“, which are provided to athletes under the “Victory Project®.”

*1) The “Victory Project®” by Ajinomoto Co. is a conditioning support initiative through sports nutrition and amino acids aimed at helping top athletes excel and succeed on the global stage.
